I have what I believe is BV. I've had it before so this is why I know. I programmed an appointment with my doctor but the first available opening is not till end of subsequent week. They told me to use a Betadine Douche to clear up the infection. Has anyone had any luck with this?

Answer: it is a good treatment but here it can be discomforting if not painful. Just buy other meds that can treat bacterial vaginosis like pills(I recommend tinidazole{tindamax}). If you are self-conscious buying them from your local pharmacy, there are many online pharma that sells those meds for privacy purposes.
