Today I started with a new doctor. I told her how in December of 2006 I be diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and I was given medication that didn't help. I also explained to her that I'm not competent to see a gyno with the insurance that I have unless I'm pregnant. My doctor explained to me that since the first treatment didn't work out I'd have to start adjectives over again and that she was testing me for chlamydia. This is shocking me because I took an STD/HIV test within October of 2006 and everything came back negative. I haven't have any sexual contact with anyone since June of 2006 and when I did it was protected each and every time. Also when I be diagnosed with bacteria vaginosis I was given a thourough pelvic and vaginal exam. If I do enjoy it, which I doubt, how could it be missed? I really want to know how long chlamydia can be missed and if its even likely that I have it. Just to add I'm 19 years antediluvian.

Best Answer: well if it was from june till october that you didny have vsex and than get checked if should have showed right up, if you had it. unless they misdiagnosed you. which coulod happen if they urgently gave you medication for what they thought you had. if you got medication after your results be back than you defenetly dont have it, unless you've had unprotected sex since you've be checked.
