I had a biopsy two weeks ago this Monday and i am bleeding quite heavy still.. On the Tuesday a time after having the biopsy i had quite a desperate smelling discharge, which I left because I thought that if, it was an infection that it was too precipitate to be showing any signs. On the Wed i had my period which was massively heavy and since then i have be bleeding non stop, i went to the doctors on Monday this week and he took a swab to see if i had an infection and later this week he call and said that i had Bacterial Vaginosis, i asked if it was this that was making me bleed and he said "no i don’t dream up so" and said to start taking the antibiotics and if im still bleeding on Monday to give him a call.. Now i started to think all right if they're not worried then i shouldn't be either but today i seem to be bleeding even more and thought very well ive been taking these antibiotics for 2 days now surly it should be getting lighter?? Has anyone else has this that could hold out me any advice? My gp done the swab and the hospital done the biopsy, the biopsy was for abnormal cell cin2.. Im not using a tampons nor am i doing anything i shouldn't yet im still bleeding allot...

Best Answer: Would need to know why you had the biopsy within the first place. When you had the bad smelling discharge it was a sign. Did the doctor you saw on the Mon do the biopsy?except call the one that did. It does not sound normal. dont swim , use tampons or enjoy baths and dont have sex! Go back to the doctor might need ultrasound.
