feminine problem (serious answers/no jackasses please)?

so heres the deal, I think I may have any a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis but I'm not sure which one it could be. I've never had unprotected sex so Im sure its no STD. There is a discharge, but very very little....just about noticable. And there is an odor...its a strange smell-I can't describe it...its like fishy almost....but not really. Theres no burning, itching, or pain. Its only just the odor. the dishcharge is faintly grey/white...not thick at all. I've be reading up on both of these and I cant seem to reach a conclusion. I know if I go to a doctor I'll only get some antibiotics and it'll fix it right up...but Im hoping its just a yeast infection so I can spare myself the embarassment and buy over the counter meds. Do you think I should try the yeast infection prescription first and then if that doesn't work go to the doctor? I've also heard going on for a med called Enzara or something-not sure if it works. I would just really love to try out all my option before seeing a doctor.

I took a vagisil infection screening oral...

when in doubt...don't risk it. Go to the doctor. Remember....it's their job to keep you full-bodied. It might be embarrassing to you at the time. BUT if it happens to be an std ( safe sex isn't other 100 % safe people..... y'all requirement to realize this!) it's better to have a doctor tell you so you can be treated immediately fairly have a partner tell you later that you give him/her something.

query in the order of bacterial vaginosis?

I think there is a spanking new test where you can check at home whether or not you have an infection that requires antibiotics. I would of course try an over the counter cream or treatment, and if that doesn't work, see your doc and he will give you a scrip for an antibiotic. However, just because you have not have "unprotected" sex, some contact does occur and some STD's can be spread that way, however, not any that would make happen these symptoms. So, try the OTC treatments (vagisil, etc...) and see if it clears it up. If not, see your doc.

Does anyone know if bacterial vaginosis repeats...

I found a great website that I reflect you should read up on. It is very informative and you might find the answer to your question. I found some information from the description that you gave. Also, I will provide the interconnect below if you would like more information. One of many causes of feminine odor which is most adjectives in women - and is considered the most embarrassing because of the fishy odor it produces - is Bacterial Vaginosis (BV). Bacterial Vaginosis results from overgrowth of one of several organisms that are normally present within the vagina, upsetting the natural balance of vaginal bacteria.

Why do I enjoy repeated bouts beside...

I am going through a situation like this right now. It starts out with simply a fishy smell and discharge but believe me the pain will be next to come. Its probably not a yeast infection but a bacterial infection which you will need antibiotics for. Also, I wouldn't hang around too long to get it checked out because it can easily get worse and the infection move to your cervix and pelvic nouns which can then cause you to have the Pelvic Inflammitory Disease. So if I be you to be safe go get it check out.

Best Answer: IM GOING TO TELL U THE TRUTH ITS A BACTERIAL INFECTION WHEN U SEE THE DOCTOR THEY WILL GIVE U SOME MEDICINE BUT IT MIGHT COME BACK U HAVE TO BE REAL CAREFUL WITH THE SOAP U USE,ANY JELLY, ALOT OF THINGS ESPECIALLY IF U DOUCH. ITS BEST TO GO TO THE DOCTOR UR GOING TO HAVE TO SPEND MONEY EITHER WAY IT GO AND ASK THE DOCTOR FOR A REFILL OF THE ANTIBIOTIC.
