Best Answer: Metronidazole for bacterial vaginosis can either be as a once off 2gram dose (4x 500mg tablets) or as a seven day course of 400mg three times a hours of daylight. So it is safe to take all four tablets at once, contained by your case. But if you are still unsure then you hould check with the pharmacist who dispensed them or the doctor who prescribed them.
