metronidazole - bacterial vaginosis?

I was prescribed 4 tables of 500mg metronidazole and my doctor told me to take as ''one dose'' does that expect to take all 4 pills 1 straight after the other - just want to double check, gratitude :)

When will Bacterial Vaginosis move about away??

hail as where you get your medications or the doctor posterior to make sure do not take it untill you know for sure

Bacterial Vaginosis and using Boric acerbic suppositories?

give the name ur Dr. or Pharmicist 4 instructions. they r the only ones i would trust for accurate info on meds if u have questions.

Best Answer: Metronidazole for bacterial vaginosis can either be as a once off 2gram dose (4x 500mg tablets) or as a seven day course of 400mg three times a hours of daylight. So it is safe to take all four tablets at once, contained by your case. But if you are still unsure then you hould check with the pharmacist who dispensed them or the doctor who prescribed them.
