In a hybrid or Electric vehicle, do headlights, the radio, or a electric fire effect your mileage to lower?

Especially the heater. If your gas motor is tiny and not running all the time, how does the cab interior grill? If it's electric, wouldn't that destroy your gas mileage?

How much does it cost to transform...

Yes

Who have an electric/hydrogen/solar coup¨¦??

Yes everything on your list causes your mileage to decrease, and depending on the battery just being cold can decrease your mileage.

Best Answer: yes, all of those things affect the ultimate array of the vehicle; it's just a matter of total energy. Somehow, the coup¨¦ has got to find or make up for the zest used by those devices. In a hybrid, all the energy eventually comes from the gasoline in the cistern. A 13 gallon gas tank holds 470 kWh (kilowatt hours) of energy. A pure electric holds between 24 and 60 kWh in its battery (I don't know what the Tesla stores, it must be higher than my figures). Anyhow, against these energy stores, an electric heater will lift 1500 watts; run it for an hour and you've removed 1.5 kWh from the car's total energy store. But compare the 1.5k against hybrid and pure electric. You can see who's thinking they might drive with the heater stale. I've not measured the current draw of the lights (on my 24 kWh electric truck). http://www.evalbum.com/2191 my truck

why dont we use electric cars?

Yes. Even surrounded by a traditional vehicle using more accessories will decrease your mileage. Why? The electricity comes from the battery. The battery-operated is charged by the generator/alternator. When you draw current, the battery must be recharged and this doesn't come free. The engine really does work harder to turn the magnets in the alternator. Don't believe it. Get one of those rechargeable flashlights. When it is off, crank. Easy. Turn the standard lamp ON and crank again. Harder, huh? For the older folks, they may remember those little generators that used to ride on the wheel of the bicycle. If you turned the feathery on BRIGHT, you had to pedal harder. However, since it isn't our legs producing the power and simply gasoline, we rarely notice the difference. This is why hype-rmilers turn rotten all accessories when trying to set fuel economy annals. The energy to run those accessories doesn't come from nowhere, it comes from the fuel powering your engine. The heater typically uses not resistance grill but rather heat from the radiator water. That is why when you turn on the vehicle after it has been sitting all winter hours of darkness, it takes a while for the output to be warm. While running the heater, the disciple reduces your fuel economy but what REALLY cuts into the economy is running the AC as the compressor runs from a belt that draws its power from the engine. (However, within are apparently some cars that use a compressor for the heater, too!)

How can You elevate a saloon beside...

Yes it will cost power.

Electric cars, advantages and disadvantages?

yes

Did GM net a critical error when...

I don't know but my cousin have an 06 Honda hybrid and it was perfectly quite when it run and you could tell when the engine shut off. But I don't think they would put out a hybrid that couldn't withstand those type of drawbacks. Now when it comes to a straight electric plug contained by, I don't know cause the issue of gas millage is n/a. (That's what makes your question so interesting, would you run by miles per volts? and what do you do about cross country trips?) That's what makes me think of how could they possibly make a car that's totally electric dependent or a car that needs no solution fuel what so ever (or an electric car that charges its self as you go [something with a super alternator or something] but you'll never see that basis industries involved with energy would loos a s**t load of money).

Are at hand any electric cars on...

The radio imposes negligible nouns, the headlights are noticeable, and an electric heater would be a substantial load. If I be designing such a car, I would try to have waste roast from the motor available to heat the cabin.

Electric Cars contained by 10 years?

It ALL Depends on the Quality and Maintenance of your Battery and the tuning of your Air to Fuel Ratio. Also dont Change Gears too Often Many more too!

What do you guess almost the Electric...

It will reduce your mileage--just as it does next to a gas-powered car. the energy to run those systems comes from the gasoline. BTW--a heater isn't the unadulterated killer. Your AC uses far more energy.

Will an electric sprayer work to paint...

Yes it will.
