Would you utter that the electric saloon is coming. Any design...?

I saw the docomentry about the Electric Car by GM and how it died. But the Electric car is out there. Even on e-bay. Would you say aloud that it is coming.

My Peugeot 307 seem to cut out...

Electric cars are coming, but not to replace the petrolium powered vehicles. Electric cars are WAY less efficient than gas burners when you look at the total process. Getting power from the electric company to your house is only %30 efficient then you lose more within the car and that doesn't count the methods of producing the electricity in the first place. There is more than enough grease on our planet to outlast all of the environuts and their grand kids. We need to replace the system we enjoy now, but it won't be with electric cars.

Would you be more feasible to date...

Being a mechanic I would say yes. we can't relie on grease forever. The fuel cell and the new electric cars are comming. Buy the way Electric cars are not new, thy be around a long time ago, but the battery was not strong eneff to do much. Now the fuel cell is here and I see that we will have to come up near something new if we intend to keep driving, and this is the way to turn.

why cant someone build an electric vehicle...

i would own to say no ,the next gen of cars are hydrogen powered .

what's the most feul updated sports car,...

Yes. Chevy is making the Chevy Volt, an electric car for 2010.

Best Answer: As a guy who reads a lot on this stuff, I'd say it's coming and is already here, but not surrounded by mass production. There are actually a suprising amount of cars converted to run on electric in America. There's a company that's changing the gasoline motors to electric motors contained by the SMART car and Ariel Atom in the United States as we speak. Also, Tesla is about to inaugurate, if they haven't already, production of their Tesla Roadster, basically a Lotus Elise imported to the United States, with some fresh body work and an electric motor. Chevrolet is developing the Volt, a plug in hybrid, so it will be able to run short distances on electric, but will still have a gasoline motor for longer trips. Honda is currently working on a up to date hybrid that may be "plug in" capable. Toyota is going to have a similar plug in system on their subsequent generation Prius. In Europe, the Prius has a small button that makes it adjectives electric for about 7 miles, oddly enough America's Prius is missing this button (you may spot it on the dashboard). There's a California based company converting them to have the button and a longer range, for the equivelent of 100 mpg. I would influence that electric cars are actually already here! But not for everybody or even most consumers. Most people build their cars to run on electric, or larger companies convert vehicles to run on electric. I believe the bazaar will get larger, but people have this stereotype roughly them having short range and sucky performance. I doubt it will ever become common, but I can guarentee the market WILL definetely get larger and it will be easier to buy one

What 3 sports car companies produced and...

Have you not heard of the Tesla Roadster? Fully electric cars are HERE. Perhaps not available to the lots yet, but on the streets and in production.
