Best Answer: Hemorrhoids are usually caused by venous stasis. A cirrhotic liver(leading to portal hypertension) or pregnancy are normally associated with hemorrhoids. They can't cause cancer. I don't know what "hvp" is unless you mean "HPV" or "Human Papillomavirus" the virus that cause genital warts and cervical cancer. HPV is not associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids can be treated with Sitz baths (google it) and over the counter treatments. They sometimes jump away on their own.
