What is the best/cheapest site for public paperwork (birthdates, etc)?
How do I find free public archives...
Ancestry would be my first choice as it has immigration store, birth and death, etc. You can still search and see a list of results but you can't click and procure the information. The good thing about the results catalogue is it, most of the time, has the date of borth. Next would be www.familysearch.org. This has England and US census, birth, departure, and family trees. You can try http://www.census-online.com/links/ as there might be a link to an online market research. Some of them tell the date of immigration. Others: www.gencircles.com www.rootsweb.com www.usgenweb.org www.genforum.comIs a copy of a coroners report...
"Best" and "Cheapest" are almost never synonymous, dear. Which one do you want? The Mormons or Roots Web World Connect may have him, if he is dead. They are both free. Ancestry.com may own him, dead or alive. It is a subscription site, with, as mentioned, a free trial.Best Answer: ancestry.com offers a 14 day free trial. rootsweb is a free Q&A forum, owned by ancestry.com. familysearch.com is free. findagrave.com is a long shot, but it's free. If any of the people you are researching are still alive, they will not be scheduled under their names, but as "Living". You can post the names of any of the lifeless family members here. Perhaps, someone with a subscription to a genealogy site will know how to locate the info. If you are not looking for a particular name/family and anybody will suffice, use Albert Einstein.

UK Answer You will only get the exact date of birth from the tag as genealogy sites etc only show the quarter the birth/marriage/death was registered. I use the website below who supply replacement birth certificates etc as they will do a three year force out as standard but have, on occasions (for me anyway) searched further to assistance with my research. The certificates also come in clear wallet which is great, if like me you want to keep everything neat & tidy! They will also deal with searches on families, including emigration. Hope this helps http://www.certifiedcertificatesuk.comRelated Questions:
