does someone know if STUDIO ONE RECORDING STUDIO stills stands within Kingston? Or unequivocal to the public?
Best Answer: Studio One officially closed when Coxsone Dodd moved to New York, and as far I as know there wasn't a museum made or anything done near the building after that. So the building may still be there (I wouldn't be suprised, as there isn't too much development within the old downtown section), but I wouldn't think it would be open to the public. I option I had thought to look for that while I was there. As for the Marley Museum, entrance is $500JA, which is around $7.40US with the current exchange rate. It is definately worth far more than that, so I would not miss that if you're going to be in Kingston. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_One_%28record_label%29 http://www.bobmarley-foundation.com/museum.html
