I just had satellite tv installed on my tv, and nowhere in the guide does it state recording from satellite tv to an old fashioned VCR. Is this still possible? I have a DVR (?) near this dish, but I want to record the old fashioned way. Can this still be done?

Best Answer: sure can. configure the VCR to adopt a line in recording and hook a set of AV cable to the VCR from the SAT box. set the sat boxes auto tune feature and enjoy. You also can transcription from a DVR playback to a VCR manually. MSEE
