their biggest problem is the sand. solar tiles need to rotate and be in the sunlight as much as possible for optimum success. with all the sand it gets contained by the servos and gears and causes them to break down and jam. the grits also crack, chip and score the solar panel causing them to need replacement. my guess is that the iraqis have neither the manpower or desire to devote full time work to the particular system that is solar power. they are more interested in stabilizing their war-torn country. just guessing almost their desires tho.I'm looking for 12v vast cycle battery...
