I've been on antibiotics for about a week for urinary tract infection and I've noticed that I've be having itching. I'm wondering if that's because of the urinary tract infection or if it means I have a yeast infection.

Keep in mind that antibiotics can cause yeast infections it help to eat pro-biotic yogourt while you're taking them. My doctor gave me samples of Macrobid for urinary tract infection and he said this exceptional antibiotic doesn't cause yeast infection. yeast infection itch horribly... but my recommend is that you better get a doc for confirmation.. dont want to have u on the wrong kind of medication on the wrong treatment.
