I deduce I might own a yeast infection, but I'm not slightly sure. (graphic, but not vulgar)?

The last couple of weeks, I've been having itchiness my labia minora. It's never be inside my vagina. I've not had any cottage-cheese like discharge, no strange odors, and it the itchiness only occur at random parts of the day, usually at night, fascinatingly enough. Tonight, I decided to use a mirror and look to see if I could see anything down there, and I did see some small white specks that benevolent of look like it could be the start of cottage cheese discharge but it far away from my vaginal opening. I wiped away some of the spots next to toilet paper and put the Walmart version of Vagisil on the itchy parts and now I am fine. I'm wondering if this could be a yeast infection. The solitary symptom I have is itchiness. It's not severe, but annoying. No burning, no discharge, no odors. So, I'm not quite sure if it's something that is purely running it's course or if I should see a doctor about it. Thanks in advance and sorry it's illustrative, but I just wanted to make sure I enjoy details out.

is a vagina thrush a yeast infection?

If the only symptom is itchy, consequently it sounds like a skin irritation. Have you bought new undies, or changed the washing powder you use? It could be something simple close to that. If it continues though or more symptoms pop up, I'd go to a doctor just to check. Yeast infections usually involve discharge, so if that's all middle-of-the-road then it's probably not that.

is this yeast infection??

It's probably an irritation to a soap you are using, or maybe you changed laundry detergents? If the itching isn't inside the vagina consequently it's probably not a yeast infection.
