I know its a lil TMI but I just wanted to know if anyone new this....I newly got a yeast infection and I was told not to treat it till after my period so I wait till i ended so i did it last nigh with the monistat daytime or night anyways I wanted to know if its okay to have sex 2 hours of darkness I havn't had any itching or burning or anything just wanted to know if it would be fine....I am not sure when I ovulate and I am have sme cramping today so I wanted to start the BDing process so does anyone know if after treating a yeast infection through the night if its ok to have sex tonight?

Best Answer: You should probably keep on a couple more days, just so the medication can work. If you have intercourse now it will more than probable remove some of the medication and might not clear up the infection completely. I think It says that somewhere on the box or the insert. It's the same concept as not using tampons for a few days after you insert the cream or suppository or anything...
