Has any one had taken acidophilus to treat an yeast infection and did it work? If yes did you had any side effects while taking it?

Best Answer: I have but I also lift them with cranberry pills. It has worked for me. Drinking cranberry juice have too much sugar so the pills are better. I had no side effects. Acidolophis is safe to take day by day

Answer: I take acidophilus every day to prevent getting one. You may need to initially treat the infection next to an over the counter yeast treatment. Try reducing sugars and eat plain yogurt. Take acidophilus with meals and wear cotton underwear and hopefully you'll be fine.
